The College meets weekly to discuss a topic of interest with our members. The speakers for each topic are experts in their field, and have assisted us all greatly with our preparation for turning ourselves into fully-fledged medieval personas and fighters. During the semester and study leave periods, our meetings are held:

Wednesdays, 7:00pm, Clubspace, Auckland University Quad
or Ground Zero, Level 0, Kate Edger Building

From the Alfred Street entrance to the Quad, ascend the stairs and go past the ATMs and the bus pass store on your left, to the staircase directly ahead. From the Princes Street entrance to the Quad, go past the grass area to the park tables and turn left to get to the staircase. The door to Clubspace is across from the Lower Common Room. If you are early, the door may be locked, so you'll need to wait for us. We try to start our meetings on time, but please be patient if we are late.

We will occasionally need to move down to Ground Zero, the Level 0 study space in the Kate Edger Building, due to conflicting room bookings. The walkway into the Kate Edger Building is located next to the University Book Shop on Alfred Street. This door should always be open. From there, descend one flight of stairs to Level 0. We will be congregating around a table somewhere in the study space.

If you have not attended our meetings before but would like to, please let us know so that we can arrange to meet you and show you where we are. A note will be sent out by the Seneschal to all members on the mailing list every week, advising them of the topic, the location, and (if necessary) the day and time of the rescheduled meeting. Click here to join our mailing list, to be sure that you don't miss out.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we run a bi-weekly archery practice to improve our skills at target and clout shooting. These are held on the second and fourth Saturday afternoons of every month. Check the Calendar or e-mail Tristan or Maria for more details.

Our Craftsmaster Lady Maria Bianca Casini also co-ordinates a "Stitch and Bitch" meeting, a gathering of the College's embroiderers and tailors, and a Herbology meeting to discuss the properties and applications of all manner of herbs. These meetings are normally held on alternate Sunday mornings at around 10am at Lady Alana's house. Please contact Maria for more details.

We also hold two festivals every year wherein we are able to put all that we have learned into practise. The College has completed its festivals for 2007, but we are currently making preparations for St Catherine's Faire, to be run by the Barony of Ildhafn later this year. Click here to find out more about St Cath's, or click here to learn more about the festivals we run.

Please also check our Calendar page for events outside of the College that we will be attending.
